Did you know Australia is the world leader in mammal extinctions and that more than 56 of our mammal species are currently threatened with extinction?

We are all responsible for caring, conserving and sustaining the environments our native species depend on.

This website is designed to educate you, your school and community, to help ensure a future for the Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat. These resources can also be adapted for learning about, and comparing other wombat species.

Please use and promote these free educational resources to help "Save Our Wonderful Wombats"!
