WOMBAT WISDOM
Resources for Teachers
|
As teachers, we know how busy and demanding this profession can be.
These inquiry-based teaching and learning resources are designed to assist you with planning a unit of work for Foundation to Year 6 students or supporting a student undertaking SACE Research Project. This is a highly relevant and topical environmental issue for all Australian students. The teacher and STUDENT RESOURCES with supporting digital and non-digital materials, are intended to equip them with the knowledge, skills and a desire to think about real-life, practical solutions to help save the Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat. You have our permission to adapt and use any of these resources for educational purposes. Thank you for your anticipated support to empower and encourage students to learn and think about ways to TAKE ACTION to save the Southern Hairy-nosed wombat, and to become advocates for a healthy environment that supports all those who depend upon it. Check out the fabulous resources the AWC have released for the "junior scientist". Here you will meet some of Australia’s most weird and wonderful wildlife and learn about their habitats, favourite foods and what makes them so special. |
